A fine, white or almost white, crystalline powder, practically insoluble in water and in alcohol.

•  CONCENTRATION

It contains not less than 6.4% and not more than 7.4% of Ca.

•  PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Bulk Density:
0.20 to 0.30 gm/cc (Light Grade)
0.35 to 0.45 gm/cc (Heavy Grade)

•  CHEMICAL ANALYSIS

As per latest BP, NF standards.

•  APPLICATION

Used as water repellent, flatting agent in paints, stabilizer for vinyl resins, ant caking agent in foods, cosmetics.
