A fine, white, bulky amorphous powder, faint and characteristic odor.

•  CONCENTRATION

It contains not less than 10.0% and not more than 12.0% of Zn calculated on dry basis.

Bulk Density:
0.20 to 0.30 gm/cc (Light Grade)
0.40 to 0.60 gm/cc (Heavy Grade)

Gives characteristic reactions of Zinc salts.

Max. 2 ppm
Heavy Metal :
Max. 20 ppm
Chlorides :
Max. 250 ppm
Sulphates :
Max. 0.6%
Alakli & Alkaline Earth Metals :
NMT 20 mg.
Acidity or Alkalinity :
NMT 0.3 ml of 0.1M HCl or NMT 0.1ml of 0.1M NaOH

Used in Cosmetics, lacquers, plastics, powder metallurgy, lubricant, mold-release agent, filler, antifoamer, heat and light stabilizer, medicine (dermatitis), dietary supplement.
