•  APPEARANC

White or almost white crystalline powder, odorless.

•  CONCENTRATION

It is composed of aluminum and magnesium hydroxides and sulphates. Its composition corresponds approximately to the Al5Mg10(OH)31 (SO4)2, xH2O. It contains not less than 90.0% and not more than 105.0% of Al5Mg10(OH)31 (SO4)2 calculated with reference to the dried substance.

Bulk Density:
0.20 to 0.30 gm/cc (Loose – Light Grade)
0.50 to 0.70 gm/cc (Loose – Heavy Grade)

•  CHEMICAL ANALYSIS

As per latest BP, USP standards.

•  APPLICATION

Used as an Antacid Raw material in a specific antacid formulations.
